The 100 Black Men of Chicago works to improve the quality of life and enhance the educational opportunities of African American males throughout the Greater Chicago area.

Deeply Rooted Dance Theater’s (DRDT) mission is to re-imagine and diversify the aesthetics of contemporary dance by uniting modern, classical, American, and African-American traditions in dance and storytelling. It cultivates a creative community dedicated to nurturing artists, advancing dance education, fostering collaboration, supporting human relationships, and sharing common values.

Ladies of Virtue’s (LOV) mission is to instill purpose, passion, and perseverance in girls, while preparing them for college, careers, and to become change agents in their communities.

West Point School of Music prevents juvenile violence and promotes academic and personal success among urban youth through quality in-school, after-school and out of school music instruction and performance programs in areas in Chicago that need it most.

The mission of the Music Box Foundation is to be a catalyst for building healthy communities and enriching lives through the power of music and the arts.

New Community Outreach creates restorative spaces for healing, reconciliation and flourishing.

The mission of Praize Productions, Inc. is to provide arts education and opportunities to youth and adults through a holistic approach that allows participants to excel in the arts and in their everyday lives.

The Simple Good is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to connect the meaning of good from around the world to empower youth to become positive activists through art and discussion.

ASE mission is to function as the Chicago affiliate of the National Association of Black Storytellers (NABS) and to promote the art form of storytelling. Through efforts to educate, entertain and inspire, members will assist in keeping alive the African-rooted cultures of the world through the power of the word. ASE is committed to guiding and developing youth in the ageless art of storytelling and of cultivating as well as promoting community partnerships.

CHIEAC aims to ensure equitable access to high-quality education for all, regardless of status and identity, through the supply of support services and commitment to proactive advocacy.

The mission of the Community Film Workshop of Chicago is to provide access to the tools of media production that supports the development of digital media artists of color in underserved communities by providing: professional development classes, networking opportunities, screenings of independent and new media, and collaborations that support community building, media production and presentation.

The Davenport Community Development Corporation (DCDC) is a 501c3 Chicago based non-profit entity that is dedicated to creating both in-person and online sustainable life-changing engagement opportunities for historically underrepresented populations through the implementation of strategically based concepts that promote the importance of self-actualization, self-efficacy, self-determination and inclusive solidarity within the communities that we serve.

EarthHeart Foundation connects and empowers mothers of color living in economically disadvantaged, high risk urban communities to become change leaders. Through educational programs that improve the social, emotional, and psychological well-being of mothers, they develop the skills to be effective advocates for themselves, their families and their neighbors.

ESRD Rockstars provides family, friends and care partners for end stage renal disease patients with the support they need to best care for their loved one(s), while managing their daily lives.

EveryMom Chicago is a not-for-profit organization that connects new and expectant mothers in underserved communities with material and support-based resources for the critical early weeks of parenthood. EveryMom Chicago is grounded in the belief that every mom, regardless of circumstance, deserves to feel prepared, supported, and celebrated.

ExCEL to Thrive’s mission is to provide school-age youth experiencing economic hardship with basic needs and mentorship enabling them to exude confidence to achieve academic success as they demonstrate leadership to thrive meaningfully in society

The Hyde Park Refugee Project walks alongside our refugee and immigrant neighbors to partner to foster a welcoming community. the Hyde Park Refugee Project is committed to creating an environment that promotes security and belonging, and to providing the support needed for individuals and families of all immigrant backgrounds to lead lives of dignity and self-determination.

Meadows Eastside facilitates local economic growth for community members, entrepreneurs, and businesses by providing access to top-tier resources, training and programs.

Nehemiah Trinity Rising works to provide advocacy, education and opportunities which promote and utilize restorative justice practices.

Perceptions’ mission is to make theatre more accessible to the African-American/Black communities of Chicago’s South Shore, and to serve as an economic and artistic resource for BIPOC theater-makers. Perceptions Theatre works to change the way people perceive the world around them, one show at a time.

PTDYA’s mission is to keep quality arts and music education alive in Chicago’s under-resourced schools and communities so that the city’s most vulnerable youth have a supportive space to learn, grow, and thrive.

The mission of The Renaissance Collaborative, Inc. (TRC) is to promote self-sufficiency through an innovative and comprehensive network of supportive housing, employment, and educational services.

South Chicago Dance Theatre (SCDT) is a multicultural organization seamlessly fusing classical and contemporary dance styles as well as preserving historic dance work. With cultural diplomacy at the heart of the organization, SCDT creates, performs, and teaches dance on a local, national, and international platform.

The South Merrill Community Garden is an anchor and safe place for the neighborhood building community through experiential learning and intergenerational activities nurturing spirit and expanding the soul.

Welcome 2 the Queendom is a nonprofit organization that provides empowerment opportunities to at risk girls. Our goals are to positively impact the lives of girls and young women by assisting them with building a positive self-image, developing leadership skills, and changing negative thought patterns.
